When I was younger I used to be proud of not caring what others thought about me or what I did.  As I’ve gotten older, I’d like to think that I’m learning a more mature stance on this topic.  It’s one thing to want to be your own person and do the things you believe in, but it’s entirely another to do and say things without regard for others, and how your actions impact them.  The former shows that you are standing up for what you believe in; the latter is just an ignorant way to convince yourself you don’t need to grow up.  I spent too much of my life being ignorant, and I’m sincerely sorry for those that witnessed my immaturity… – JCT (this is primarily dedicated to my mom, my dad, and my brother — I Love you all!)
